Today’s practicum was unlike any other we have held. I want to thank every one of the members who gathered with bravery and self-compassion, allowing us all—myself included—to be radically vulnerable together. There's no way around it, It is an incredible and awful time to be alive. Witnessing this reality together is the first commitment required for any true change. We cannot look away. We cannot do this on our own.

I feel strongly that any spiritual practice or space prioritizing "neutrality," "choosing love," or "compassion for the other" in the face of such moral atrocities is actually part of the problem. Today, Art of the Seer—and I personally—commit to holding this container for the opposite: Radical presence. Radical being-ness. Radical spirituality.

In these times, choosing love, neutrality and peace is first a forceful and violent act. This is unfortunate, but accepting this is the first step in reclaiming the personal and collective power necessary to sustain ourselves in what is being asked of us, and what lies ahead for all of us.

As a network of sentience on this planet, we are compelled to stand in the way of that which challenges our individual and collective consciousness and humanity. We have an obligation to look directly at the horrors and bring our fierceness to bear for the freedom, dignity, and respect of our neighbors and those who cannot or are alreadying fight for themselves. They cannot do it alone.

If you are experiencing fear, rage, resistance, unwillingness, or confusion about your role in this revolution, please read the recap. You are not alone. I am feeling all these things too. As sensitives, we often believe we are not built for this. But this is the trick and the sleight of hand they play. For it is the sensitives—those who feel and see most deeply—who hold the true power to create change. But that power is not given - it must be claimed.

It is time to put our spirit and bodies on the gears of the machine and force it to stop. We all know the poem: today they come for the others, but tomorrow—make no mistake—they will come for you.

In today's summary, we discuss how to turn your anger into kindling, how to stop "dialoguing" with other’s desire for destruction, and how to find one’s own version of "Good Trouble." I'm bummed I didn't record it (accidentally), but it was definitely a had to be there kind of practicum. I left today in deep gratitude for this community, but also in sheer fury and terror. Which makes sense, because we're being terrorized. Putting a name to these energies, seeing them clearly for what they are, has given me command of my clarity, my response, and my will to be again.

Join us next Saturday if you’d like to be in community and a brave, supportive, and fierce held space around this topic. 🔥
